Last week we revealed you the first details of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz B-Class and we also said something about a new vehicle dubbed BLS. Well, today we found out something new regarding the new so-called BLS, a little brother of the CLS four-door coupe, codenamed C117.

The new vehicle will replace the Mercedes-Benz CLC Sport Coupe and will be built on a new platform much better than the one found on the current hatchback. Under the hood, all the engines will feature direct injection and turbochargers while the CO2 emissions will range from 95 to 135 g/km. The most important thing regarding the upcoming BLS is that the vehicle will not be a luxury car like the CLS so don’t expect a smaller four-door coupe with the same technology and luxury materials. Now we must wait and see more details regarding the upcoming four-door coupe A3 Plus from Audi in order to make a comparison!
