More details of the upcoming Vw Golf VI GTI
As you may know already the Golf VI GTI Concept made its debut last year at the Paris Motor Show and information of the upcoming production version are still unknown. The final version of the car will be very close to the concept, with red piping around the front grille, same stylish 17 and 18 inch Denver alloy wheels, rear roof spoiler and rear apron with integrated exhaust system and air diffuser.
Inside we find the same three-spoke sport steering wheel and sport buckets wearing the stylish red stitching, as well as the aluminium sport pedals. Under the hood the engine will remain the same used by the concept, 2.0-liter TFSI capable to develop 210 hp and 280 Nm of torque. This engine will push the 1320 kg vehicle to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds while the top speed achieved will be 238 km/h. The fuel consumption will be, according to the manufacturer close to 7.3 l/100 km or 32.22 mpg (with the DGS gearbox 7.4 l/100 km or 31.79 mpg). According to our sources the new Vw Golf VI GTI will make its official debut this summer!
