The London Motorcycle Show is displaying Ducati UK’s collection of 2011 models, spearheaded by the new Diavel, which is making its London show debut shortly before its international launch.
Diavel will be the main draw for visitors to the show because of its stunning looks, commanding presence, and the latest in Ducati technology like Ducati Traction Control, ABS, Ducati Riding Modes and a Superbike-derived Testastretta 11° engine.
The Diavel also leads a range of new and updated models introduced for the 2011 model year. Such offerings include the 1198SP now with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Ohlins TTX rear suspension, slipper clutch and aluminum fuel tank.
The 1198 also has updated standard equipment like Traction Control, Ducati Data Analyser and Quick Shifter. Also joining the improved and impressive Superbike range is the 848 EVO, which now boasts 140hp and is equipped with Brembo Monobloc calipers and steering damper.
The 848 Evo, which will also be on display in race livery to promote the 2011 848 Challenge, will show a new additional paint scheme in stunning arctic white livery with contrasting red wheels and red frame.
This one-make Championship is a support series for The British Superbike Championship, visiting five BSB circuits, two overseas rounds at Monza and Assen and one New Era round at Castle Combe.
The Championship has already garnered huge interest with 22 riders confirmed with three months still to go before the first flag drops at Brands Hatch on April 25, 2011. The Monster family welcomes the new 1100 Evo along with color schemes and ergonomic updates to current members of the Ducati naked icon.
