Shark introduces Evoline S3, S900C—two new helmets in 2012 collection

Article by Christian A., on February 24, 2012

For the summer season this year, SHARK Helmets introduces the Evoline S3 and the S900C, which are two new offerings to its extensive 2012 collection. The Evoline S3 is an upgrade to the renowned Evoline S2. It is a multi-functional helmet, which converts to open-face from full-face with a button. An auto-up opening system is now available in the chin bar.

This system takes up the visor with it when moved into the backwards/open position. The Evoline S3 is the only flip-front helmet available in the market to feature a chin bar that can move 180 degrees. With the SHARK's racing development on every new helmet, the S3's aerodynamic potential has been enhanced.

Also, noise reduction in closed and open positions has been lessened. Moreover, the weight has been lowered. The Evoline S3 now has the same weight as a regular full-face helmet. The product also features new interiors and lining, SHARK's 'Easy Fit' system for glasses and a UV 400 filter sunshield. The Evoline S3 comes in various designs and colors.

It is available for as low as £299.99. On the other hand, the air fit system helmet S900C is a brand-new concept for the French brand. To boost comfort and fit to the products in the S900 series, SHARK has added a pump device with an L-shaped inner chamber, which expands next to the chin and cheek when pumped-up. The helmet also has new aerodynamics, better noise reduction and increased ventilation. The S900C also has a new lining and interior as well as a UV 400 filter sunshield. The S900C comes in a range of designs and colors. It is available for as low as £179.99.
