Honda renews partnership with exhaust supplier Arrow Special Parts

Article by Christian A., on April 22, 2012

The racing department of Honda Motor Europe has renewed its partnership with exhaust supplier Arrow Special Parts, extending its long-standing relationship in the World Superbike championship. The Italy-based manufacturer was established in 1985. It has since achieved an enviable track record of at least 20 world championship trophies in motocross, supermoto and road racing.

Arrow’s involvement in Honda's World Supersport and World Superbike activities started in 2004. The manufacturer has supplied exhaust systems for the team's CBR600RR and CBR1000RR Fireblade models, winning at least seven world titles with the Dutch Ten Kate squad through the years.

Regarding the signing of the deal at the last SBK round in Imola, Arrow President Giorgio Giannelli commented that since the Arrow-Honda partnership started eight years ago, they have developed "a great relationship, both professional and personal." He further stated that they are hoping for "a good result this year with Jonathan and Hiroshi" and that they are working "very hard" to create new exhaust systems to meet all the needs of the team.
