New Fiat Ducato Euro 5 coming to the 2012 Motorhome Caravan & Camping Show

Fiat’s Professional stand (with no.S140) at The Motorhome Caravan & Camping Show will prominently feature Fiat Professional’s New Ducato Euro 5. This new event is the largest motorhome, caravan and camping showcase to happen in London for more than five years. It will take place from Feb. 14 to 19 and its venue is at ExCeL, London. The new 2012 season models will be seen at the stands of all the major UK and several European motorhome manufacturers.

Many would be based on the new Ducato chassis, in van and coach-built versions. Three out of every four motorhomes in Europe are equipped with Fiat Professional’s Ducato, making it the most widely used chassis on the market.

At the Fiat Professional stand’s exhibits, there will be a Ducato 3.0 litre 180bhp chassis cab with the new extra-long wheelbase with Comfort-Matic gearbox alongside the displays of the Comfort-Matic gearbox and new Euro 5 Engine.

Those who would visit the Fiat Professional stand will get the chance to get more details about the new Ducato Euro 5 range, Comfort-Matic gearbox and the complete lineup of customer care support and network facilities exclusively offered to Fiat Professional Motorhome owners. The new Ducato is the newest version of the top-selling van whose five generations have received multiple international awards and have sold over 2.2 million vehicles since 1981.

Its success stems from the ability of Ducato to respond to the specific requests of its customers, due to solid and dynamic design in combination with its functional dimensions. This new range of Euro 5 engines has more diversity and offers more power. Each takes the lead in its power bracket when it comes to consumption, emissions and performance.

The range includes two 2.3 MultiJet II engines that have power outputs of 130 bhp and new 150 bhp respectively. In addition, there’s a new 3.0 litre 180 MultiJet Power Euro 5 engine. The entire lineup of new 2.3 litre Ducato engines is included in the second-generation MultiJet family, which offers amazing technology, performance and economy.
