New Holland reveals world’s first hydrogen fuel cell tractor

New Holland, a subsidiary of the Fiat Group has revealed the first hydrogen-propelled tractor in the world at an Italian agricultural show. The tractor is called the New Holland NH2 and is the first of its kind, it is totally silent and totally eco-friendly, emitting only water and heat. It comes with a prototype hydrogen fuel cell that produces 105bhp. The company claims that it can do everything that a gasoline-powered T6000 can do, upon which this new and unique tractor has been derived. No production plans for the NH2 at the present time though, but it sure will be welcomed in the country for its silent operation.
