This is the new set of teaser images of Chrysler’s highly anticipated 200 sedan. In the middle of September, there was a preview of the 2011 Chrysler 200 but these new photos show a better look at the car's front end as well as show the contrasting stitching of the leather interior.Upgrades to the exterior and its sheet metal include front and rear fascias and fenders, grille that displays the new Chrysler brand winged badge, hood, rear decklid and exterior mirrors, new projector headlamps and fog lamps, new LED tail lamps and a LED center high-mounted stop light. The new sedan is equipped with a 2.4-liter in-line 4-cylinder World Gas Engine partnered to a 4 or 6-speed automatic transmission.
It will also be offered with Chrysler’s new Pentastar V6 engine that delivers 283hp and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm of torque), which will be mated with a 6-speed automatic as standard. The interior received updates such as a new instrument panel, bezels and gauge face.
The upcoming sedan also got upgraded seats with a new design that features more cushion material and revised spring geometry as well as new leather and cloth seating materials. In addition, the sedan features new “soft touch” door trim panels, new “soft touch” armrests and dash and new heating and cooling outlets in the instrument panel with improved design and functionality.
