New York Auto Show: 2010 Land Rover LR4

2010 Land Rover LR4After the Range Rover Sport, Land Rover revealed at this year’s New York Auto Show the brand new LR4. The model, also named Discovery, develops more power and much better torque than the former version, being capable of 375 hp and 508 Nm of torque. The new Discovery comes with a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission which pushes the car to reach 100km/h in 7.6 sec.

Due to the updated 4×4 Terrain Response system the vehicle is able now to control the driving also on the hard sandy roads and doesn’t allow the car to dig deep into the sand. The new LR4 also features a reverse surround camera, a hill descent control and Dynamic Stability Control, all for a much safer drive. At the outside the car gets new LED lights both in front and rear, a brand new front bumper and is fitted with 19-inch wheels and new main headlights. The interior features a heated steering wheel with remote audio control, upgraded access to controls and LED interior lightning on the door handles and pockets, a USB port dor multi-media playback, an LCD touch- screen and iPod connectivity, all these for a high level of comfort.
