2012 New York Auto Show: 2013 Bmw 6-Series Gran Coupe pricing announced

BMW held a press conference at the New York International Auto Show where it revealed the pricing details for the new BMW 6 Series Grand Coupe models. Powering the 2013 640i Gran Coupe is an uprated version of BMW’s critically acclaimed 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo Inline-6 engine that would be the first to appear at BMW Centers.

Expect the 640i Gran Coupe to start selling in late June with an MSRP of $76,895. Later this summer is when the TwinPower Turbo V-8 that powers the 2013 BMW 650i Gran Coupe and the all-wheel drive 2013 BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe is expected to arrive. The pricing for these two models are $87,395 and $90,395, respectively.

These prices include the $895 Handling and Destination charge. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is a new 4-door, 4+1 seat – the latest to be added to the 6 Series line that boasts amazing proportions, design and driving dynamics of the 6 Series Coupe with interior room and amenities for as many as five passengers.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe comes with excellent proportions, precise lines and surfaces with sleek contours. BMW claims that this model is ideal for the driver who is looking for a luxurious and sporty coupe that could carry four adults comfortably.
