Chrysler will introduce a special version of the 200 model at the upcoming New York Auto Show. This vehicle has a starting price of 28,870 USD (exclusive of destination charges) and is based on the S package. It is powered by a Pentastar V6 3.6-liter engine that delivers 283 HP (208 kW).
The car is built on a set of semi-gloss 18-inch alloys. Its highlights include premium leather seats, perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel and Boston Acoustic audio system.
This model can be distinguished from the regular Chrysler 200 due to its glossy black mesh grille that features a platinum grille collar, body-color cladding, platinum chrome "spears" positioned above the fog lights, a platinum black lower front fascia, together with a deck lid spoiler and platinum chrome belt molding.
It also comes with a new diffuser that has wider exhaust tips and a sport suspension. The cabin got the Carhartt treatment. The steering wheel, seats, center console and armrests get triple diesel gray stitching accents. A black finish is used on the steering wheel buttons, together with the front cup holders, air vents and gearshift.
Chrysler will start production of this vehicle in the second quarter at its plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan. These cars will then be modified at Chrysler’s upfit center located in Warren, Michigan.
