The all-new 2015 Subaru Outback was officially introduced today at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. Subaru promises that the 2015 Outback will offer the most capable chassis, roomiest interior as well as the highest fuel-efficiency in model’s 20-year history. The 2015 Outback debuts with a bolder look featuring a new hexagonal grille, redesigned bumper, standard HID low-beam headlights that offer a more distinctive nighttime signature and turn signal exterior mirrors on Limited trim line.

The models fitted with the EyeSight are offered with the new Steering-Responsive Fog Lights. Powering the 2015 Outback 2.5i model is a double-overhead-cam (DOHC) FB series 2.5-liter BOXER engine that develops 175 hp (2 hp power increase) and 174 lb-ft. the 2015 Outback 3.6R Limited uses the 3.6-liter BOXER 6-cylinder that generates 256 hp and 247 lb.-ft. of peak torque.
All 2015 Outback models come as standard with the Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission), with the 6-cylinder model using a high-torque version. The Outback 2.5i is equipped with standard 17-inch wheels, and the Limited trim line features 18-in. alloy wheels.
