The next-generation Bmw M5 is almost the most waited sports sedan and is set to take on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Talking to our German sources, we found out that the new M5 will drop the V10 engine in favor of a more powerful V8, possibly the 555 hp V8 engine which made its debut on the brand new Bmw X5 M and X6 M. Regarding the debut of the car, our source could not give us a launch date but said that chances are very small to see the new car by the end of the year. This means that the new vehicle will be officially unveiled at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show or the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. More details to be revealed!
