In 2010, the UK will witness the arrival of Skoda‚ hot Fabia vRS that produces 178bhp and a noticeably more aggressive styling than its predecessor. The latest vRS will have the 1.4-liter ‚ÄòTwincharger‚Äô unit, identical to what‚ fitted on the Seat Ibiza Cupra.
This engine will enable the car to achieve 60mph in around 7sec and a top speed of 140mph. A tough sporting look will define the latest vRS. There will be no conservative styling for this model, which when placed side by side with the standard car, can be picked out right away. While the previous Fabia vRS was diesel-powered, Skoda has ruled out an oil burning version. Instead, what will come as standard is a seven-speed DSG ‘box, equipped with paddle shift. The car will be unveiled early 2010!
