Next-generation Rolls-Royce flagship sedan coming in 2016

According to the latest reports, it appears that Rolls-Royce has no intentions to replace its Phantom flagship sedan. Inside sources confirmed for 4Wheelsnews that the model will be improved continuously in the coming years and the car will have a life cycle of almost 13 years. For those who don´t know the car made its debut back in 2003 and since then it already received a facelift.

The sales of the Rolls-Royce Phantom dropped in 2009 when the manufacturer sold only 800 units worldwide while a year before 1212 units were manufactured and sold. Sources confirm a new flagship sedan for 2016. It appears that Rolls-Royce will have plenty of time to work on improving the sales of its new 2010 Ghost we well as continue working on the coupe and cabriolet variants based on the new sedan as well as on the electric variant of the Phantom.
