However, only one of the Mustangs will be a 2009 model-year vehicle. APR Performance is fitting wide-body parts, GTC-500 carbon fiber rear wing, carbon mirrors and a complete race suspension to the vehicle. Powertrain mods will include a supercharger with an air-to-water intercooler, header-back exhaust, lightened flywheel and a high performance clutch. Details after the jump! Quiet a few of the 2006 and 2007 model Mustangs will also be featured from a number of producers, including two by Trufiber, a body parts maker. Both of Trufiber's Mustangs will feature superchargers as well, one rated at 519 hp (387 kW) with a 150-shot of nitrous oxide, the other is good for 465hp (346 kW) minus the nitrous oxide. Two other supercharged vehicles will also be on display, one by wide-band AFR-maker Zeitronix and another by Roush. The Roush vehicle will highlight a polished Roushcharger, a complete Black Jack pulley upgrade, Roush suspension, six-piston brakes, custom Roush body parts and a Hillbank/Roush 427 HB-R graphics package, among other alterations. Also present on the floor will be a 2008 Shelby SZ8 Turn 2 Mustang from a joint venture by Roush and Shelby Distribution USA. It will feature a 12psi pulley, Torsen T-2 differential, Carrol Shelby/Shelby Performance Parts CS8 body kit and painted-on 'seamless' Shelby Graphics. The Mustang that is least altered in the group began as the most modified - a 2007 Shelby GT500. The only active modification is a Magnaflow 3-inch cat-back exhaust, and the rest of the modifications are of the aesthetics variety, with quarter-window scoops, painted mirrors and Shelby Razor 20-inch rims completing the package. Lastly, for the Mustang entries, there will by a improved 1969 Mustang from Grant Industries. With a GT500 KR 4V V8 engine at its core, it will be in the running as one of the fastest 'Stangs at the show, no matter its nearly 40-year-old title. A Heidt autonomous front suspension kit with four-link rear suspension, AFCO coil-overs and SSBC four-wheel disc brakes modernize the handling package, while 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) aluminum alloys round out the appearance.
