Nissan developing GT-R Sedan and SUV! Lexus LF-A still coming!

The global economic downturn has also affected the Japanese automotive industry as evidenced by the cancellation or delay of numerous future models such as the new Honda NSX. On the positive note, however, at least a dozen of new vehicles will be released in the following years. The GT-R supercar will be receiving extra attention from Nissan. A 4-door Infiniti and a Porsche Cayenne are two offshoots of the GT-R that can be expected to show up in 2011.
On the other hand, Honda is intending to introduce a brand new 2-door Beat which is powered by an uprated 800cc engine. The Beat convertible was seen first in 1991 and came with front-wheel drive became an instant star among customers and enthusiasts. The S2000 coupe, which Honda did not delay, will be coming out either late in 2011 or early in 2012. Attention was shifted to the Lexus V10 LF-A with the recent cancelation of the NSX, but reports say that since Toyota did not pull out of F1, it will still bring its first true supercar to the market but we have to wait between 12 to 18 months for that and expect a price not lower than $340,000.
Further news say that the V6 Supra replacement is still in the works and is set to debut in early 2011. Lastly, two new vehicles set to open in July are the 1.0-liter supercharged Nissan Micra and the Mitsubishi i-MIEV EV, and May will see the debut of the brand new Subaru Legacy which was seen as a concept in the Detroit Auto Show.
