Nissan GT-R sets new lap record at Nurburgring

The winner of this year's World Performance Car of the Year title, the Nissan GT-R, has significantly improved its lap time around the Northern Loop of the famous Nurburgring in Germany to only 7 minutes and 26 seconds last 23rd of April. This improvement demonstrates the commitment of the engineering team of Nissan to constantly challenge the car's performance. The preceding lap times of the GT-R were 7 minutes and 27.56 seconds (April 15, 2009), 7 minutes 29 seconds (April 2008), 7 Minutes 38 seconds (September 2007). These yearly improvements are Nissan's way of delivering the enthusiasm and delight of ownership to their customers. The award-winning GT-R has more than a dozen titles to its name both in the US and in the UK.
