Nissan Murano to receive new diesel engine from Pathfinder

There were rumors on the Internet that the popular Nissan Murano is going to receive a brand new V6 diesel engine in order to deliver a better fuel consumption and to improve the sales. According to the latest reports, it appears that the SUV will not receive the V6 diesel power plant but in favor of a brand new 4-cylinder diesel engine, also used on the current Nissan Pathfinder. The engine, capable to deliver 174 hp, will not only deliver a better fuel consumption but will also make the car cheaper and a powerful rival for cars such as the Mazda CX-7, which carries at 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine capable to deliver 173 hp.
