Novitec Rosso has prepared a tuning kit for the Maserati GranCabrio that boosts its performance as well as its looks. The Maserati GranCabrio has been fitted with several clear-coated carbon fiber components, such as a front spoiler lip, carbon fiber grille surround, rocker panel trim, a rear spoiler lip and diffuser. It also received a set of 21/22 inch alloys (front and rear) that feature a five double-spoke design and covered in Pirelli P Zero tires.
When it comes to performance, Novitec Rosso upgraded the 4.7-liter V8 engine to deliver an added 150hp and 82 Nm (62 lb.ft.) to get to this amazing output of 590hp at 7300 rpm and 472 Nm (348 lb.ft.) of torque at 5400 rpm. As a result, the Maserati GranCabrio is able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph). Priced at EUR19,900, the engine conversion is complemented with the Novitec Tridente sport exhaust system.
The fully stainless-steel system features four slanted tailpipes with diameters of 90 millimeters. In addition, buyers have the option to get the control flap installed or do without it. The tuners say that when there are control flaps, the driver can engage in sound tuning from the cockpit. They also explained that depending on what the control flaps' position is, the eight-cylinder engine would mean that the car will be aggressive (such as a race car). Novitec also gave the GranCabrio a height-adjustable coilover suspension, which gets back to its original position instantly upon hitting a speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). Its interior upgrades include the use of Alcantara leather “in any desired color.”
