BMW Logo

HARTGE is aiming for elegant and tasteful styling as opposed to extravagance in its version of the X5 xDrive35d. The car's exterior is composed of clear lines. Right away, a glance at the model gives an impression of harmony, from the front spoiler, the diffuser-like rear skirt and the two-part side sills in PUR-RIM. The car also comes with a ABE homologation (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis - ABE).

The X5 does not look like a SUV due to the HARTGE sports spring set with level control system for the rear axle, which lowers the vehicle by up to 30 mm. Adding to this impression is the set of 'BRILLANT CLASSIC 2' wheels. These 22-inch rims for ultra-wide tires - 295/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear - are the ideal match for the sporting four-wheel drive car with appropriate HARTGE emblems.

The sporting nature of the car is emphasized with details such as carbon casings for exterior mirrors and stainless steel tailpieces with oval tail pipes that can be connected to the standard exhaust system. This is based on a 3-litre diesel engine producing 328 hp (241 kW) at 4400 rpm. The X5 xDrive35d from HARTGE packs a lot of power. In fact, it gets to 100 km/h in only 6.1 seconds, faster than the series X5, which takes seven seconds. It also has a higher top speed, which rises from 235 to 244 km/h.

The car weighs at 2.2 tons and its interior is distinguished by a range of sporting accessories: 3-spoke leather steering wheel with carbon inserts, which are also found on the dashboard; a variety of interior and decorative strips; and a transmission console made of this high-tech compound. The 300 km/h speedometer has a silver metallic dial and red needle, making it very striking.

Found in all HARTGE automobiles are the aluminum pedals and footrest coupled with black velour foot mats that give a sporting touch. Of course, this shouldn't be a surprise since Herbert Hartge is a successful ex-racing driver and has brought the spirit of motorsport with him into the company. All parts are suitable for retrofitting. As a complete vehicle, this exclusive X5 costs 87,277.47 euros (including 19% VAT).
