The Dodge Ram is banking on Americans' love for their huge, US built, HEMI-powered trucks. Very recently, the new 2010 Dodge Ram was released and as we look over the pricing information, we find that they're cheaper compared to the previous model. The 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 regular cab ST 4x2 with an 8-foot box is priced at $28,165, about $1,950 lower than the 2009 version. In addition, Dodge is offering Crew Cab Configuration for the first time. The 2500 crew cab SLT 4x4 costs $39,430 or $40 less than the 2009 Quad Cab. If the length of the 2500 isn't enough, you can get the 3500 4x2 Reg Cab ST with 8-foot box retails for $35,640.
A 3500 4x4 Crew Cab Laramie has a price tag of $51,095. The Ram Heavy Duty powertrains include a 6.7 liter Cummins Turbo Diesel and a 5.7 liter HEMI. The diesel engine produces 350 hp and a 881 Nm at only 1,500 rpm. In layman's terms, that means you can basically pull anything with this Dodge Ram.
If diesel isn't an option that you would even consider, you can have a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine that produces 383 hp and 542 Nm of torque. The 5.7 liter HEMI was redesigned for 2009, with several new improved technologies including Variable-valve Timing (VVT), increased compression ratio, active intake manifold and improved cylinder head.
