Official: 2010 Infiniti EX30d unveiled

Infiniti released today, the first images with the EX30d a.k.a. its new compact diesel crossover designed especially for the European market. As expected, the car carries a piezo-injection 3.0-litre V6 that delivers 238 PS (235 bhp) and 550 Nm (406 lb ft) of torque. Mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, the new Infiniti EX30d can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. Infiniti also confirmed the fact that the massive torque output is even greater than its storming 5.0-litre petrol V8 engine. With the new diesel engine installed, the EX30d shows an impressive fuel consumption of 33.6 mpg (combined) and 224 g/km of CO2 emissions. Infiniti expects a big success from its diesel-powered EX and hopes that , eight out of every 10 EXs will be the new EX30d.
