Official: All Infiniti models will be hybrid

Within the span of ten years all Infinitie models will be hybrids claims the carmaker. Infiniti is in the process of transforming its image into a socially accountable car manufacturer. It will debut its first hybrid in 2010 with a gasoline-electric variant of the M saloon. The company plans that every Infiniti model to come with a parallel series hybrid powertrain as seen in the Infiniti Essence recently revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. The latest M, which is patterned after the Infiniti G-series saloon and coupe, and which will be opened in the US this coming September, will reach Europe by 2010. [via autocar]
