Official: GM files for bankruptcy

It's official! General Motors filed for bankruptcy today, leaving 100 years of history behind and listing $82.29 billion in assets and $172.81 billion in debts. Of course, this is very sad news but according to Barack Obama, GM will emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing a stronger company. Obama also said that there will be more job losses and further plant closures before this happens but what can we say is quite normal!
