Official: Nissan GT-R SpecV model revealed

Enough with the leaked details, Nissan GT-R SpecV model was officially unveiled today! What you must know is that the new SpecV model is a car built for enthusiast drivers who want the performances of a race-car in a street-legal vehicle .

Based on the well-known Nissan GT-R a.k.a. Godzilla, the new vehicle comes with unique body, interior and performance equipment and modifications. The exterior of the vehicle, available only in Ultimate Black Opal (RP) body color, includes a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a carbon fiber grille and carbon fiber brake ducts while at the interior we find Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats as well as new carbon fiber accessories on the rear center storage box, instrument panel and other trim areas. Under the hood is the same engine found on the ”standard” GT-R featuring a new high gear boost control device which delivers greater torque in the intermediate-to-high speed ranges providing in this way a more powerful feeling of acceleration.

Stopping the car will not be a problem because the new Nissan GT-R SpecV model comes with carbon-ceramic which delivers greater performances together with the high performance tires found on the 20 inch racing-style forged aluminum wheels, developed especially for this model by Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO). Also a new titanium-coated exhaust system was added for a better sound of the engine.

The new Nissan has been priced at 15,750,000 yen which represents almost $172,000 or €126,600. The vehicle will go o sale at the seven specially selected Nissan dealers throughout Japan on February 2.
