Once again, MINI supports the Life Ball in Vienna

MINI Roadster

Each year since the MINI was launched in the market in 2001, it has donated a vehicle to the Life Ball. So far, 11 unique vehicles have been auctioned off, generating over 500,000 euros that will be spent on projects that fight HIV and AIDS. A broad range of internationally famous celebrities have helped design these vehicles. MINI will continue with this tradition until this year, which marks the 20th anniversary of the Life Ball. For this year, Franca Sozzani, chief editor of Italian VOGUE and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Fashion 4 Development, will be working with Life Ball MINI designers. In the past years, the celebrities that have helped out in this cause include international fashion designers such as Joseph Corré for Agent Provocateur, Donatella Versace, Renzo Rosso for Diesel and Missoni as well as Mario Testino and The Blonds for Katy Perry. Sozzani has made a design sketch for the MINI Roadster, which she says, is inspired by a “beautiful woman who put a scarf on her head when she drives a Roadster.”
