An official letter was sent by General Motors today to dealers informing them of a thirty-day production delay for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro beginning March 16 this year. The message explained that the reason for the delay is neither legal nor economic, but simply GM's desire that the "Camaro exceeds the highest quality benchmarks." A member of the forum at Camaro5 who is said to have the directive told that the Camaro convertible, which was reported shelved two months ago, will be available for sale as a 2011 model. The document lists the power figures of the bent-eight versions as follows, 400 hp for L99 and 426 for LS3, with October as the month set for the completion of all 10,000 pre-orders
