As you may know already, Opel is working hard on its new small city car and thanks to our German sources we found out some new details. First of all, the name of the car will be Opel Adam (named after company’s founder) and will be officially revealed to the public in September, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The 3.70 meter long four-seater will be built in Eisenach and will hit the market in 2013. Regarding the price, it will cost less that 10,000 euros, which means it will be a rival of the Volkswagen Up!. What is more interesting is that the car will be available with diesel and petrol engines, but a hybrid version will also be offered. A full-electric version is expected to debut in 2014. According to our sources, Opel already started the first production tests at its Plant in Eisenach.
