The price for the sedan version in Germany of the Opel Insignia OPC was officially announced and it will start from EUR44,900. According to the manufacturer, the sporty OPC version will be available in three body configurations: sedan, hatchback, and Sports Tourer. The most expensive of the range, will be the Sports Tourer which is priced at EUR46,375. They can reach an electronically-limited speed of 250 km/h and hit 100 km/h in 6 seconds.

Hans Demant, Managing Director, Adam Open GmbH, said, "While the ecoFLEX version shows our commitment to outstanding environmentally friendly cars, the OPC instills some hot chili flavor into the Insignia family. It opens a new generation of OPC cars, offering mature power, refined efficiency and a lot of fun."

The range also boasts 18-inch Brembo front brakes with large 355 x 32 mm, cross-drilled discs, four-piston, high-strength aluminum calipers and high performance brake pads, 19-inch OPC wheels, air intakes in the front bumpers, rocker panels, integrated rear spoiler, satin chrome finishes and dual exhaust pipes. Three driving modes are offered by the FlexRide electronic system: Standard, for all-around performance; Sport, where the chassis suspension stiffens and reduces body roll; and Agile, where the steering gets more direct and the throttle becomes more responsive.
