As we said in a previous post, the facelifted version of the Skoda Octavia was unveiled with the occasion of this year’s Paris Motor Show. The Octavia is produced and assembled in 8 countries and represents the bestseller of the Czech manufacturer. “The Octavia has always had a special position among Škoda vehicles. It is our most successful model, very popular worldwide. Now it has gone through a complete transformation that is apparent in the new interior and exterior, as well as the applied technology,” said Dr. Eckhard Scholz, BOD Member responsible for technological development.
The new design of the car includes new bolder headlamps, a new radiator grille and a one-piece bumper while at the rear part we find new tail lamp covers and a dynamic bumper with integrated cat eyes.
The new interior brings innovative audio and navigation systems, a new design for the steering wheel, new dashboard and a redesigned central console. Plenty of photos after the jump! The car also features a new adaptive xenon headlamps system and new front WOKS headrests for effective rear impact protection, in all equipment levels. Under the hood we find a brand-new 1.4 TSI capable to deliver 120 hp but also the turbocharged 1.4 and 1.8 liter petrol engines.
