The new Venturi Volage represents the latest concept launched by the partnership between Venturi Automobiles and Michelin and marks, according to the manufacturers, a big step in the evolution of electric vehicles. Yes, electric vehicles we said: the new Volage features the "Michelin Active Wheel" technology that incorporates 2 electric motors per wheel (1 for suspension and 1 for drive), meaning that the car has a total of 8 electric motors piloted in real time by spearhead electronics. The Volage features also an electric shock absorber system that allows it to adapt to any type of surface and driving. At the interior the dashboard features a touch screen display where the driver can configure the vehicle entirely as he wishes. Due to the fact that it has only 1,075 kg , the new car from Venturi can hit 100 km/h (60 mph) in less than 5 second! That's really impressive! The good news is that Venturi is already taking in consideration to produce the new electric vehicle and there are great chances to see Volage on the crowded streets.
