Those who visit the booths of automotive industry suppliers hope to get a better idea of the technologies, materials and inner working of the items on display.
And in order to satisfy these expectations, Valeo and Visteon will be showcasing these products on actual vehicles. Last week, Valeo revealed that it will bring a concept vehicle at the Paris Motor Show.
American supplier Visteon followed this announcement with one of its own. Visteon said that this car will be the C-Beyond, a real life display of the 40 technologies in climate and interior systems that the company has developed.
With this car, Visteon expects to showcase technologies such as advanced connectivity, the vertical air flow concept, interior ambiance and exterior and lighting features.
This car, along with its featured technologies, has actually made its first public appearance in several countries in Europe and Asia. The C-Beyond will make its way to the North American continent in 2011.
Steve Meszaros, Visteon product group president, said that he has received “positive responses” from customers, confirming that its new technology concepts attend to future consumer trends and needs.
He added that these concepts are meant to be an inspiration to carmakers to 'see beyond' the traditional role of the vehicle to “create an innovative user experience enabled by Visteon's technology and advanced development."
