The front end of the A1 resembles its family, although it features distinct detailed elements.

Likewise, it features horizontally arranged brazes, which highlights the width of the front. The front also features large air intakes with horizontal bars, thereby boosting the athletic appeal of the Audi A1.
Positioned on the outer corners of these air intakes are the vehicle's fog lights. On the other hand, the Audi A1 bears a determined yet aggressive road-focused front appearance, thanks to specially designed 3D-styled headlights whose interior feature strongly curved wing structures.
Daytime running lights come as standard on the Audi A1, which can be further customized with optional xenon plus units. With this option, the A1's daytime running lights come with LEDs and a light guide, appearing as a homogenous strip tracing the wing.
