Yesterday, we revealed you the first photo with the upcoming TT Sportback Concept that will be unveiled next week at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Today, the concept car returned in new photos and showing new angles as well as its interior. As you can see, the front end is inspired by the TT Sport Quattro Concept, featuring big air intakes as well as a big honeycomb front grille.
The rear end is completely new and features stylish taillights interrupted by the Audi logo, as well as new tailpipes and a brand new bumper with integrated air diffuser. Inside, the dashboard is almost identical to the one featured on the TT Coupe and gets the same instrument digital cluster using the 12.3-inch display.
According to our sources, the new TT Sportback is longer than the A3 Sedan but also wide and will take on vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz CLA. Under the hood, there is a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that produces a staggering 400 hp. Moreover, the trunk offers a volume of up to 850 liters when the rear seats are folded.
Audi already expressed its intentions to offer a third variant of the TT but everyone though that it was speaking about a production version of the TT Offroad Concept, a stylish crossover.
A sportback version of the TT makes more sense as Mercedes-Benz CLA sales are pretty impressive and the German manufacturer already announced that it will increase production in order to meet the demand.
