Element of surprise: the third Lamborghini supercar teaser released

Article by Christian Andrei, on September 20, 2010

Behold the third teaser of the new Lamborghini supercar which is going to be revealed at this year’s 2010 Paris Motor Show (you can see the first two teasers here). Dubbed ‘Element of Surprise’, the new teaser shows a fragment of the dashboard, which is made using carbon fiber.

Unfortunately, we have no details regarding this new car, but according to sources it appears that it will be a replacement for the Lamborghini Murcielago, powered by a V12 engine delivering over 700 hp.

According to the latest reports, it appears that Lamborghini will unveil not one, but two new vehicles at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Dubbed “LB715-5″ and “83X”, the new cars will be unveiled this week (Thursday, September 23) to dealers in Sant’Agata, Lamborghini’s hometown.

It appears that the teased car is the “LB715-5″, the new Murcielago successor powered by a V12 engine, delivering 715 hp.

The other car named “83X”, could be a replacement for the popular Gallardo, introduced 7 years ago, but also the production version of the Estoque Concept also known as the Lambo sedan. More details to be revealed, as Lamborghini will not stop here with the teasers.

If car aficionado were to describe the achievements of Lamborghini as a brand name and auto maker, he or she will definitely say that the brand is a hallmark of innovation and features concepts that can be considered advanced and revolutionary.

Take a look at the impressive Miura and Countach models. These are now considered precious classics by car fans but, during their debuts, these concepts or designs were already years ahead of their competitors. It won’t be a surprise then if more of Lamborghini’s super cars will be auction favorites in the future.

Lamborghini continues on in its tradition of innovation and futuristic designs with the Murcielago and Gallardo. Sleek and attractive, these two cars are monsters of functionality and aesthetics. The contours of the cars’ exteriors are precisely defined.

The lines end in edges that are a testament to the excellent aerodynamics of the vehicles. Indeed, the Murcielago and Gallardo are certainly new examples of the precision and excellence that is Lamborghini.
