Article by Andrew Christian, on September 17, 2014

Honda will not only bring the HR-V at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but also the new Jazz, both vehicles being disguised as prototypes. So, what’s new for the 2015 Jazz prototype? Well, according to Honda, the vehicle is now 15 mm longer while the wheelbase increased by 30 mm, which means more interior space.

Moreover, the third-generation European Jazz sits on company’s global compact platform, retaining the center fuel tank layout used by the current model but also by the Civic and HR-V. Inside, we find the Honda Magic Seats as well as plenty of storage solutions.

Thanks to a new suspension system the vehicle promises to be more refined as well as more comfortable.

According to Honda, the new Jazz will go on sale in Europe in summer 2015, powered by a new Earth Dreams Technology engine (1.3-liter i-VTEC petrol powerplant) bolted to a six-speed manual transmission or to the optional CVT automatic gearbox. More details to be announced next month when the vehicle will arrive at the 2014 Paris Motor Show!
