Peugeot has its production version of the Peugeot 208 XY on display at the Paris Motor Show. This is a highly stylish version that the company is relying on so that its brand could go upmarket. The 208 XY was first presented at Geneva in its concept form. Since then, it has gotten a variety of exterior and interior enhancements. Its mirror casings, fog lamp trims, window trims and rear skirt bead have a chrome finish. Meanwhile, its quarter panel and centre pillar have gloss-black finishing. The car uses 17in multi-spoke alloys and has the 'XY' badging on the rear. The roof decals are available as an option. Its cabin gets an aluminium pedal bracket and footrest and bespoke trim on the vents, dashboard, steering wheel insert and front and rear door crossbars. The door trims, vents and side decorations of the multimedia touchscreen are covered with a chrome embellishment. Its dashboard has a metallic bronze colour finish. The seats of the 208 XY have a cloth and Alcantara trim. It will be available with several choices: two diesel and two petrol engine options. The most efficient 1.6-litre oilburner has a CO2 emissions level of 98g/km.
