Peugeot at the 2010 Paris Motor Show

Peugeot SR1 Concept

At the upcoming auto show in Paris, French automotive producer Peugeot will showcase a range of mobility solutions. This range is led by the world premiere of the 2011 Peugeot 508 model, which borrows inspiration from the manufacturer’s SR1 Concept. The 508 is offered in Saloon or SW body styles and is available with a range of power options that offer from 112 to 204 bhp. Peugeot will introduce the new e-HDi system on the 508.

Included in its range of fuel efficient technologies is the HYbrid4 technology. Furthermore, Peugeot will display the 3008, the world’s first production diesel hybrid vehicle, at the 2010 Paris Auto Show. Other models that will be showcased include the Peugeot iOn electric vehicle and the BB1 Concept, an innovative electric urban concept. At Peugeot’s booth, visitors will also see the e-Vivacity, an electric motor scooter that will start selling in 2011, as well as the e-Satelis, a concept scooter.

To be featured alongside these two scooters is a range of bicycles, which were renewed to mark the brand’s bicentenary. One of the main attractions at Peugeot’s stand is the 908 HDi FAP endurance race car, which just got a first and second position victory in the Autosport 1000km at Silverstone - the inaugural race of the new Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC). It also won in the 2010 LMS drivers’ and manufacturers’ championship. Rounding out the Peugeot range is a special RCZ Sports Coupe. Of course, visitors can take the special Bicentenary Walkway that will give them a view of Peugeot products and achievements in the past 200 years.
