Peugeot EX1 Concept coming to the 2010 Paris Motor Show

According to the latest reports, it appears that Peugeot will unveil a new concept car at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Dubbed EX1 the new vehicle will mark 200 years of history (as you may know Peugeot celebrates its 200th anniversary). Sources confirm the fact that it will be a hybrid sports car, powered by a petrol engine but also by an electric motor. First details regarding the car are set to be released on September 6, while the first images will come later on September 21. Although we don’t expect a production version of the car, we do expect its design philosophy to be found on the upcoming cars from the French manufactures. Some of you may say that this new car will preview the reincarnation of the Peugeot GTI sporty hatchback, but for the moment there are no details pointing that. [via EuroCarBlog]
