Peugeot Hymotion hybrid scooter coming in 2010

Peugeot is ready to go in production, next year, with the HYmotion3 Hybrid scooter. The new HYmotion3 Compressor Concept features twin electric motors, one for each wheel in front, and a 125cc 1-cylinder four-stroke engine. The super fuel saver scooter is fantastic in terms of consumption, it can ride with only 2L every 100km, scoring also very low emissions of just 47g/km. The French manufacturer is very careful at its competitor moves also, as the company scheduled the release of the new scooter very close to the one of the Piaggio MP3 Hybrid. The competition will be though as there are no big differences between the two. Peugeot scores an advantage due to the presence of a partially enclosed superior weather protection, while the Piaggio model will be powered by both the electric motor and gasoline engine only at the rear wheel.
