After Citroen unveiled yesterday its GT Concept, another French manufacturer, Peugeot, revealed the RC HYmotion4 Concept at the Paris Motor Show. The new concept represents a real competitor to the Porsche Panamera or the Aston Martin Rapide, and according to the manufacturer this is an synthesis of ideas that demonstrates that respecting the environment and driving pleasure can be compatible.
The big surprise of Peugeot is under the hood, where we can find a 1.6-liter THP (Turbo High Pressure) capable to develop 216 hp but also a 95 hp electric engine. With a final result of 313 hp, the concept's CO2 emissions were limited to 109 g/km in the combined cycle (or zero in electric mode) while the fuel consumption was drastically reduced to 4.5 liters /100 km.
