Peugeot will be unveiling its latest concept car, the 2008 Concept, at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The 2008 Concept car is expect to further boost Peugeot’s international conquest strategy, which involved mobilising all its talents and employees. The company’s engineers and designers collaborated in Europe, China and Latin America to design and develop the 2008 Concept, described as the seductive future vehicle of the range. The 2008 Concept carries Peugeot’s stylistic looks, as it is endowed with athletic and sleek lines. The 2008 Concept is expected to reinvent the standards of the larger vehicles in the small-vehicles segment. Finished in fluorescent yellow with Velvet matt varnish, the 2008 Concept bears a guise that makes it look like its full of energy.

The body of the concept is punctuated with Dark Chrome details, emphasizing its modernity and elegance. The 2008 Concept will be run by a newly developed 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engines, which provides the concept with dynamic power at 110bhp.

The combination of good power and lightweight qualities endowed the 2008 Concept with the versatility it needed as well as low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The 2008 Concept follows the debut of the ‘Urban Crossover Concept’ in Beijing earlier this year. It also follows the spec-loaded 208 hatchback, which went on sale in Europe in March and in the UK in June. The 208 will be made available to industrial and commercial customers in Latin America in 2013.
