In order to refresh your memory, the 2009 Mercedes SLR 722 S Roadster is the latest supercar from the German manufacturer which will be produced in a limited edition of just 150 units beginning with January 1, 2009. The new car will be powered by a V8 engine capable to deliver 650 hp and 820 Nm of torque, connected to a five-speed automatic transmission developed by Mercedes-Benz. The sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) is achieved in just 3.7 seconds while the top speed is 335 km/h (208 mph). The new soft top is manufactured using a special material that reflects the carbon-fiber look and is guaranteed by Mercedes in any weather conditions and at speeds of over 300 km/h (186 mph).
