Porsche is nearing completion of developing a series of modifications for its Panamera model. The Panamera is expected to sport a revised headlight design, new front bumper, and a tail lift. The car’s new rear will have bumper molding protruding on the lower tailgate and the plate dais. Porsche is expected to launch the modified Panamera in April, following the unveiling of the new Boxster in March.
The Panamera is currently the company’s second biggest-selling model next to Cayenne SUV, which now accounts for more than half of all Porsche sales. The company posted an almost 25% hike on year-on-year sales during January-November period.
Due to the high demand for its Panamera and Cayenne models, Porche reportedly will add a third shift at its Leipzig plant to boost production. [source: Autocar]
