Porsche confirms hybrid version of the Panamera sedan

2011 Porsche Panamera S Hybrid
It's official: a hybrid version of the Porsche Panamera will be built! The words came directly from the LA Auto Show and sources confirmed that the new car is expected to go on sale in 2011. According to our sources, it appears that the new Panamera Hybrid will not have a four-wheel drive system, because the manufacturer doesn't want to make the car too expensive (although don't expect a low price for it). Regarding the engine, a V8 would fit the American market but a more efficient V6 engine is expected to be offered on the European market.
