Porsche considering canceling an existing contract with Magna

There's a silver lining to be seen as it is believed Porsche would turn to now-bankrupt German-based Karmann for its requirements. Karmann currently doesn't have any manufacturing contracts and Porsche could well save the company from disappearing altogether. This remains to be a rumor however until we get confirmation. These speculations stemmed from reports claiming Volkswagen is considering some type of partnership with the former builder of the Mercedes-Benz CLK Convertible. Volkswagen is supposedly finding ways to add Karmann to their portfolio for months now. There's even a persistent rumor that Karmann may build electric vehicles for Volkswagen.
