Porsche introduces 911 Club Coupe only for club members… some of them

2012 Porsche 911 (991) Club Coupe

In order to celebrate 60 years since the first Porsche club was founded, the German manufacturer launched a special edition of the 911 Carrera S. As expected, the car will be available only for the Porsche Club members and will be build in a very limited edition of just 13 cars (one will be owned by Porsche, which means customers will get only 12). Each unit will cot 142,800 euros excluding taxes, but the bigger problem is that around 181,000 Porsche club members will have to fight for these cars as there are around 640 Porsche clubs in 75 countries.

Unfortunately, the car will not be available for Porsche fans who live in India or China. The Porsche 911 Club Coupe will get the same 3.8-liter engine delivering 440 hp and not 400 hp like the standard version. Moreover, the engine delivers 430 Nm of torque and can push the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds (standard version hits the same speed in 4.3 seconds and in 4.1 seconds when using the Sport Chrono package).

Moreover, the Porsche 911 Club Coupe can be recognized by the special green paint called “Brewster Green” and by the interior color called “Espresso”. Furthermore, we find Sport Techno 20-inch rims, a Sport Design package which adds a front lip spoiler and a ‘ducktail’ spoiler inspired by the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7. The PASM sports suspension lowers the car by 20 millimeters.
