Porsche Panamera Cabriolet: more details revealed

As you may know already, last week we revealed you the first patent images with the upcoming Porsche Panamera Cabriolet but today we got more photos with the new car and its unique roof. You can see from the photos that the new car will feature a system that runs from a permanent fixed central roof section. The new car will come without the traditional B-pillar seen on almost
all four-door sedans, but will require stiffening to the Panamera's floorpan and bulkheads in order to ensure the structural rigidity and integrity.
Porsche might be a leader in this new segment, because other manufacturer abandoned the plans for a four-door convertible after the move involved stiffening and added weight. Regarding the Panamera Convertible, it appears that it will carry roof made out of fabric hood.
