Starting this September, Porsche will offer the Panamera Turbo Powerkit, a Sport Design Package and 20-inch Panamera Sport Wheels in Europe. Earlier this month, Porsche had announced that it will introduce these upgrades on the North American market. The Turbo Powerkit boosts the power of the Panamera model. Torque is increased to 750 Nm with the use of two new turbochargers with titanium aluminum turbine wheels. The vehicle can now accelerate to 60mph in 3.9 seconds (0.1 sec faster than the production car). Its maximum speed is 305 km/h (189.5mph), faster than the regular version by about 2 km/h.The Powerkit has a price tag of €16,695.70, including VAT. Porsche Tequipment will be launching the upgrade as a retrofit kit this November. Priced at €4,581.50 including VAT, the Sport Design Package features an exterior color, painted front end with widened black air intake grilles, separate side skirts and the standard, exterior color painted rear underbody apron with diffuser and fins. However, side skirts can be ordered separately for an extra €969.85 including VAT. Panamera owners might also want to get the 20-inch Panamera Sport Wheels, which will sell in Europe for €1,588.65 including VAT. Consumers can opt for their wheels to be colored GT silver metallic, black, or in the car color.
